General description of a tubular balance
The pipe scale is a convenient leveling device based on the leveling of the water column in the pipe. It allows leveling over long distances or even in different rooms. Water column readings are provided by measuring tubes with a measuring scale up to 1 mm accurate. The water is filled through two measuring pipes, which are equipped with plugs. With a tube scale, it is no longer a problem to determine remote heights at the same level.
