Ship pallet
Pallets are intended for standardized freight transport. The pallets can withstand a higher load and hold the load slightly higher than the ground, which prevents contact with moisture and dirt. They are reusable and interchangeable. Due to the standardized dimensions, they can be easily transported by forklift and loaded on railway wagons, trucks and in standardized ISO shipping containers.
Pallets are built of wood. The area of the wooden pallet is 1.2 square meters. The width and length of the wooden pallet is 120 x 100 cm. This means that shipping pallets together with standardized Euro pallets measuring 120 x 80 cm can be easily loaded into standardized ISO shipping containers of Anglo-Saxon dimensions. The standardized ISO shipping container of Anglo-Saxon dimensions does not allow the storage of two 120 x 80 cm Euro pallets along a longer 120 cm length, but only a pallet length of 120 cm and 100 cm. The combination of ship and Euro pallets thus enables greater use of space in a standardized ISO container.
Wooden pallets are suitable for the manufacture of simple and inexpensive joinery (for example: a bed or sofa).
Pallets are marked, unmarked, non-standardized, unstamped, stamped and used. Some pallets have only been used once, so they are well preserved.
The pick-up point is in the warehouse, 4 kilometers from Ljubljana. When you pick it up, you choose the palettes that you think are the most beautiful, the most solid and the most suitable.
