High-quality thread repair kit that allows you to replace damaged threads with a new threaded insert. The drill bits and taps are made of HSS high-speed steel. Single step taps cut a thread into which a hard stainless steel spiral insert is inserted. A guide knob and a punch are used to insert the insert, which breaks the protruding tip of the insert.
The set is designed for 5 types of threads:
- M5 x 0.8 x 6.7 mm
- M6 x 1.0 x 8.0 mm,
- M8 x 1.25 x 10.8 mm,
- M10 x 1.5 x 13.5 mm,
- M12 x 1.75 x 16.3 mm.
