The housing of the surface-mounted socket is made of robust plastic, the cover of which is tinted transparent and has the possibility of waterproof and dust-proof closure according to the IP66 protection standard. Through the tinted transparent and possibly locked cover of the socket housing, it is thus possible to easily visually monitor the condition of the connection in the event of high electrical currents. The housing cover of the waterproof socket has a built-in locking attachment with the help of a padlock, which protects against unauthorized connection or disconnection of the electrical conductor. With these features, the lockable socket is perfect for a secure and easy external connection for charging electric vehicles and electronic devices.

An electrical socket according to the Schuko standard for connecting single-phase 230 V 16 A electrical devices is added to the housing. Above the socket there are two USB ports with 5V ≤ 2100 mA power supply and a red warning light, through which it is possible to charge or drive electric battery devices that require a USB connection for their operation.

In addition to the socket, screws are added for attaching the socket and the socket housing to the wall or. carrier. The added rubber seals enable waterproof dust and permanently installed protection of electrical conductors leading to the socket housing and screws that fasten the socket housing above the plaster.
