General characteristics of the return flow meter in common rail motors
A professional test kit is used to monitor the return flow of diesel fuel on common rail engines. Measurements are performed on a single injector, and up to 6 injectors can be monitored simultaneously.
The test is performed on the low pressure section and not on the potentially hazardous high pressure section.
This industry standard test requires the removal of return pipes on injectors. Adapters are attached to this and the amount of return flow from the injectors is monitored. Based on the amount of fuel return flow, it can be concluded that the CDI system is operating properly.
This kit is suitable for the following systems: Bosch, Denso, Delphi, Siemens / VDO.
All adapters are located in a case that also includes measuring tubes and gauges that are resistant to diesel fuel and allow easy reading.
